The government of Kenya’s vision for the health sector is that of an efficient, high quality health care system that is accessible, equitable and affordable for every Kenyan. Availability of essential medicines (pharmaceuticals) and medical devices (non-pharmaceuticals) are an important input in the delivery of quality health services.
